Sweets, parties, lights, markets lots and lots of poinsettias and a huge parade in January.  The Spanish Christmas is lovely, low key and family oriented but with all the magic that Christmas is supposed to envoke.

Year after year, each and every village has their own parades while the large capital cities have week long celebrations and attract thousands of people from far and wide. You may be lucky enough to see one of the villages re-enact the last hours of Christ's life.
